Delorres Gail “Dee” Hornback Thompson went to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020. Dee went peacefully in her sleep at her home in Kingfisher, Oklahoma. She was 82. Visitation was held on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 5-6, at Sanders Funeral Service in Kingfisher. Graveside service was held Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Kingfisher Cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.

Lorene Hill Brown, 80, of Canadian and Bronte, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020, in Canadian. Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, Oct. 10, at Brookshire Cemetery in Runnels County with Rev. Mark Turman, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

Betty Cecille Plymesser passed from this life on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2020, in Oklahoma City at the age of 91. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, Sept. 19, at 2 pm at the United Methodist Church of Arnett, with interment to follow at DeBolt Cemetery. Visitation will be available at Shaw Funeral Home of Arnett on Friday from 9 am to 7 pm.

Robert L. Hodges, 77, of Amarillo, passed away peacefully at home early Tuesday morning, Sept. 1, 2020. Visitation will be held at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept. 3, from 6-7 pm. Services will be on Friday, Sept. 4, at 2 pm at Redeemer Christian Church with David Ritchie, of Redeemer Christian Church, and Dr. Howard Batson of First Baptist Church, officiating. Wearing of masks and social distancing is recommended. A private family burial will take place prior to the service. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Kenneth (Hal) Halland Roberts was born on Oct. 21, 1949, in Chickasaw, Oklahoma, to Juanita (Baird) and E.J. (Pat) Roberts. He entered into heaven on July 29, 2020, to spend eternity with his parents and his beloved wife and best friend of 40 years, Susie. Hal and Susan K. Renfro entered into marriage on Feb. 1, 1977.

FORT WORTH—The Right Reverend Sam Byron Hulsey died Thursday, Aug. 6, 2020. A memorial service will be held when it is safer to gather. Bishop Hulsey’s body was donated to the Willed Body Program at Southwestern Medical School, Dallas. Later, his ashes will be buried in Old City Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford, and at his family farm in Parker County. Arrangements will be handled by Thompson’s Harveson and Cole Funeral Home.

Joy Patton Torian, 80, of Lubbock, passed away from this life on Saturday, June 20, 2020. Funeral arrangements were conducted by Broadway Funeral Directors, and visitation was held on Wednesday, June 24. Burial services were held the same day in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in the Patton family plot beside her parents and her only daughter, Pamela Ann Bell, in Paducah.
