Body Billy Ray Boyd Jr. passed away in his sleep on July 29, 2022. Military funeral services will be held at 10 am on Friday, Aug. 5, at Hillside Christian Church, Amarillo Northwest Campus, located at 600 Tascosa Rd. in Amarillo. Officiating will be Jason McLeod.

Body Maria Louisa Arguijo Godino, 82, of Wichita Falls, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022. A Vigil service was held on Wednesday, July 20, in the chapel of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls.

Body Nanie Carver, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2022, at her home in Canadian. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm on Friday, July 29, at the First Christian Church in Canadian with Matt Dillon and Garrison Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery.

Body After a battle with cancer, Lisa Lee Litchfield, of St. Paul, Minnesota, passed away on July 1, 2022, in St. Paul. Lisa requested cremation and her ashes will be spread amongst the Pacific and Atlantic oceans.

Body Fernando “Freddie” Valenzuela, 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on July 8, 2022, at his home in Higgins. Memorial graveside services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, July 23, at the Higgins Cemetery.

Body Brentley (Brent) Shields of Amarillo passed away in his home. Brent fought a long, hard battle with mental illness, which ended peacefully on June 19, 2022.

Body Janice Moore, 64, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones on June 27, 2022, at her home in Canadian. Memorial services were held on Wednesday, June 29, at the First United Methodist Church in Canadian with Rev. Morgan Johnson officiating.

Body Frank Carl Muir, 79, of Panhandle, passed on June 27, 2022, surrounded by his children and holding the hand of his bride of 57 years. Funeral services will be at 2 pm today [Thursday, June 30], at The River in Panhandle. Graveside services will follow in Panhandle Cemetery.

Body Jerry Donald “Big Dad” Collier, 82, went home to his Lord and Savior on Friday, June 17, 2022, in Canadian. Memorial services were held on Monday, June 20, at the First Christian Church of Canadian with Matt Cook officiating. A private family burial will be scheduled later.

Body Edward “ED“ Bert Babitzke, 92, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on June 6, 2022, in Tucson. Graveside services will be at 11 am on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery in Canadian with Gary Jahnel officiating.
