Robert “Bob” Lee Perkins Jr., 60, of Higgins, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, in Higgins.

Phyllis Jean Yarnold, age 83, of Purcell, and formerly of Houston, passed away Monday, Dec. 28, 2020, at Sunset Estates. A graveside service was held on Monday, Jan. 4, at the Hillside Cemetery in Purcell.

Catherine “Cathe” Hinojosa Pow-ledge, 50, of Allison, left us to be with the Lord on Christmas Day 2020 in Kansas City, Kansas. Graveside services are still pending at Zybach Cemetery in Briscoe with Rev. Matt Gary officiating. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.

Robert Eugene Adcock, 89, of Pampa, passed away on Dec. 12, 2020, at his home with his family by his side. Graveside services were held on Saturday, Dec. 26, at Fairview Cemetery with Keith Feerer of Mary Ellen and Harvester Church of Christ officiating, and Robert’s family eulogizing his service. Burial and arrangements were under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.

Peggy Joyce (Wood) Manning passed from this life on Dec. 25, 2020, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 79. Per the wishes of Peggy and her family, she was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Scott and Angel Wilbourn of Boydston-Wilbourn Funeral Home in Lindsay, Oklahoma.

Nathaniel Keith Wright died peacefully in his home after a yearlong strong battle with stage 4 colon cancer on Dec. 14, 2020. He was 32. A private memorial was held in Amarillo on Saturday, Jan. 2, followed by interment in Canadian at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery.

God welcomed another angel into heaven with the passing of Christine Schaef Sleeper on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020, in her home, surrounded by her family. Graveside services were held on Saturday, Dec. 19, at the Elkhart Cemetery with Pastor Wescoatt officiating. Visitation was conducted on Friday, Dec. 18, at Garnand Funeral Home in Elkhart.

Jody Wayne Powledge, 46, of Allison, died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, in Kansas City, Kansas. Graveside services will be at 11 am on Saturday, Dec. 26 in Zybach Cemetery in Briscoe with Rev. Matt Gary and Bret Begert officiating. Viewing will be from 1-6 pm on Wednesday, Dec. 23 at the funeral home with the family being at the funeral home from 4-6 pm. Masks will be required. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.

William Marvin Kells, 77, of Lipscomb, died Dec. 14, 2020, in Dodge City, Kansas. No services are set at this time. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

Shirley Ann Pickard Wheeler, 79, of Amarillo, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020, in Amarillo. A graveside inurnment service will be at 2 pm, Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, at the Roberts County Cemetery in Miami, with Donald Hill officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of LaGrone Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors in Amarillo.
