GAYDEAN BUCHER

Born Oct. 22, 1932, to Verl D. and Leila Litchfield, Gaydean grew up in Higgins. She had two brothers and five sisters. Gaydean and her family were survivors of the 1947 Higgins tornado. Gaydean and Franklin Ray (Frank) Bucher married on Aug. 12, 1950, and raised five children: Cathy, Larry, twins Terry and Jerry, and Franklin Richard (Rick).

May 5, 1935 – November 17, 2021 Hemphill County native Bob Conatser died in his Amarillo home on Nov. 17, 2021, at the age of 86. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 10:30 am, in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery, with Donald Hill, pastor of The River Ministries, officiating.

Graveside services will be at 11 am on Saturday, Oct. 15, at Kingston Cemetery in Kingston, Oklahoma, with Joe Patterson officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors. Memorial services will be at Abundant Life Assembly of God Church in Canadian on Saturday, Oct. 22, at 11 am.
