On June 11, 2023, Gilbert Monroe Forrest of Mulhall, Oklahoma, went to be with his Lord and Savior, surrounded by his loved ones.

Gilbert was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a preacher of the Gospel for over 67 years. He was 88 years old.

Memorial Services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, May 20, at the First Presbyterian Church of Canadian with Rev. Mert Cooper officiating. Bob Gober, 79, of Canadian passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023, in Canadian. Memorial services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, May 19,  at the Canadian Church of Christ, with Andy Cavalier officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Bob Wayne Gober was born July 11, 1943, in Canadian to Perry and Letain Adcock Gober. He attended Canadian Schools and graduated with the class of 1961.

Kathy Mains McNees, 72, of Glazier, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.

Kathy was born on Oct. 11, 1950, in Guthrie, Oklahoma, to Gene and Dorthy Mains. She married Thomas Micheal McNees (Mickey) on June 26, 1970. On May 14, 1972, she gave birth to their only daughter, Cassie Michelle McNees.

Survivors include her husband, Mickey McNees, of Glazier; daughter, Cassie Michelle McNees, of Canadian; sister, LaQuita Jordan, of Crescent, Oklahoma; and brother Eddie Mains and wife Donna, of Crescent Oklahoma.

Kevin Lee Farrington, 67, of Skellytown drew his last breath this side of paradise while family sat at his side on Monday, April 17, 2023, at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock. For final respects: Thursday, April 20, from 9 am until 8 pm at Winegeart Funeral Home, 303 N. Frost Street, in Pampa. Celebration of Life funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm, Friday, April 21, at the First Baptist Church of Skellytown, 306 Roosevelt Street, with Pastor Carter Pirtle officiating.
