The Lady Cat softball team ended their regular season with a 23-0 loss at River Road on Monday afternoon. Canadian was hanging around in the game, trailing 2-0 through the first two innings before River Road exploded for a 17-run top of the third.
Senior Lady Cat golfer Briley Merket’s superb golf season came to an end last week during the Region I-3A golf tournament at the Shady Oaks Golf Course in Baird on Wednesday and Thursday. Playing as an individual, Merket shot rounds of 95-90, for a 36-hole score of 185.
CHS junior Ben Bryant punched his ticket to the UIL Class 3A state golf tournament with two superb rounds of play at the Region I-3A golf tournament at the Shady Oaks Golf Course in Baird on Monday and Tuesday.
