The Canadian Lady Cats saw an impressive 16-game win streak come to an end last Friday. The dream of an unblemished District 1-3A record came up short, as Canadian fell to rival Spearman at home, 38-28.
CHS tennis serves aces at Amarillo High

Canadian’s tennis players took on schools, both big and small, at Amarillo ISD’s tournament Saturday with success, while gaining valuable experience against tough opponents. In Bracket A action: The duo of Hayze Hufstedler and Everett Hadaway won two matches, defeating Allen/Langford from Pampa 8-5 for the boys-doubles’ consolation medal.
Wildcats stay in district hunt with double-digit win over Dalhart Friday

The Canadian Wildcats put it all together for their biggest district win of the season with a double-digit victory, 63-47, against Dalhart on Tuesday night at home. After struggling, following a heartbreaking 42-40 loss to rival Spearman last Friday, the Wildcats shot extremely well from the floor, pushing the tempo against the Golden Wolves.
