Body Canadian High School’s Lady Cat cross-country program has earned some preseason attention in the state rankings, which spotted them in fifth-place overall in 3A, behind Holliday (No. 1), Lorena, Poth, and Whitesboro.

CCC Bike-a-Thon fundraiser attracts 22 riders

Body TheCanadianCommunityCenter hosted its annual bike-a-thon last Saturday, Aug. 21. Twenty-two riders took to the road and raised some much-needed funds for the CCC’s after-school programs. The weather was perfect for a morning ride.
