Body Elizabeth Jean Smalley, 23, of Petersburg, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019, in Lubbock. Graveside services were held at 2 pm on Wednesday, Dec. 11, in the Petersburg Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Abernathy.

Body Beatrice “Joyce” Ford Perkins, 85, of Wheeler, died Sunday, Dec. 1, 2019, in Wheeler. Services were held at 2 pm today [Thursday, Dec. 5] at the Cornerstone Church, with Rev. Rodney Weatherly and Pastor Erron Mercer, officiating. Burial followed in the Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler.

Body Martha “Sissy” Harris Miller, 91, of Brenham, died Oct. 22, 2019, at her home in Brenham. Memorial services were held Friday, Oct. 25, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Brenham. Arrangements were by Brenham Memorial Chapel in Brenham.

Body Fredrick Justin “Murph” McPherson, 71, of Freer, died Dec. 1, 2019, in Houston. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation and arrangements were under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.  

Body Sid Henderson, 69, of Canadian, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019, in Canadian. Graveside services were held at 10 am on Saturday, Nov.

Body Jane Macias, 98, of Perryton, died Nov. 21, 2019. A rosary service was held at 4 pm on Sunday, Nov. 24, at the Carmichael-Whatley Canadian Chapel. Mass was at 10
