Our club has enjoyed the musically-talented Alex Moreno as a program several times before, but this time was unique as he brought three equally talented friends from Rice University, where Alex is finishing his freshman year.

Last week, we had a very interesting group of ladies stop by the museum. You may have even heard them as they drove through town on the highway. They are members of the Motor Maids—one of the oldest ladies-only motorcycle groups in America. These women were from all over Texas.

Here’s another great dish from my Taste of Home cookbook. It’s a nice combination of seafood and a bountiful garden vegetable.

SILVEUS INSURANCE GROUP The Canadian/Hemphill County Chamber of Commerce hosted ribbon-cuttings for two new businesses during the last week—a hopeful sign that the local economy may be rebounding from the pandemic slump.

I found this “Taste of Home” cookbook recipe years ago and continue to make it. It’s quick and easy and mighty delicious. If you don’t like pepper or hot sauce, you can omit it and still have a tasty dish. Enjoy!

It is a well-known fact that we are allowed to chew out the people we care about. Most recently, this came to mind when I gave my old friend, Andrew, a serious tongue-lashing.

Graduation season is officially upon us. The museum has a very large gallery room available to rent for such the occasion. The fee for a private party is $75 for the first two hours and each additional hour is $25.
