Fall Foliage Arts and Crafts Fair

Body The ever-popular Fall Foliage Arts and Crafts Fair will once again be held at the Canadian Elementary School, at 500 Dogwood St. Over 60 vendors from across the area will tempt shoppers with everything from homemade foods to interesting décor items, art, and clothing.

Canadian Art Walk 2021

Hot Dogs and S’mores

Body Still hungry? You are in luck, because the Canadian Community Center will be serving hot dogs and s’mores at Sunset Park from 5-7 pm on Saturday. Get two hot dogs for $5, and enjoy a beautiful place to watch the sun go down. Can’t beat that, can you?

Lake Marvin Nature Activities

Body Enjoy a scenic 10-mile drive out to Lake Marvin on FM 2266. The Lodge will be open both days—from 9 am to 6 pm on Saturday and from 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday— with planned activities that include a nature scavenger hunt.

Body Beth Briant’s program this week was a family affair. Her son and daughter-in-law, David and Dusty Witcher, are currently hosting an exchange student, Cody Johnson, from Scotland. Cody is participating in this exchange through the program Foreign Links Around the Globe, or FLAG.
