Never going out of style

Body
Those who happened to be at, or drive by, The Bucket during lunch on Wednesday, July 28, were at the right place at the right time. The spectacle surely resulted in a few double takes and lingering glances. The backstory, though, is just as amusing.

Canyon’s Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum has launched its first online digital exhibitions. This includes the Baffin Island photographs of M.H.W. Ritchie, an Isabel Robinson artwork collection, a seashell collection, and more to be featured for all to see. The anthropology, archival, and collections team continues to work hard in making these artifacts available to the public. “We’re so excited that the public has greater access to PPHM’s holdings through this digital project.” said Jennifer Modzel, collections manager. “With such a large collection, having the ability to present additional collections and exhibitions online allows visitors to learn more about Panhandle history from anywhere in the world!” This is only the start to the museum’s growing digital exhibits and collections. PPHM hopes to break down barriers of access to the museum through these digital exhibitions. To see this digital exhibit or plan an in-person visit, go to www. panhandleplains.org.
