AMARILLO—Utility customers in the Texas Panhandle, including Xcel Energy customers, are encouraged to contact Panhandle Community Services, which serves the top 26 counties in the Texas Panhandle, in the coming days to apply for utility bill assistance if they are unable to pay their utility bills. Utility customers seeking assistance after Tuesday, Dec. 7 will need to schedule an appointment to discuss their needs with a PCS agent. Utility customers will need to pick up an application form at any one of PCS’s 14 regional offices, or contact PCS to have a form mailed, faxed, or emailed to their residence.
