Our beloved son, Joel Anthony Robbins, entered into God’s Kingdom on July 17, 2025, after a 10-month battle with cancer. Joel was born to Keith and Vonda Robbins on June 1, 1974, in Country of Curacao.
Lois Ann Schultz, 74, of Booker, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025.
Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Shattuck Cemetery in Shattuck, Oklahoma. Celebration of life service will be 1:30 PM Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Booker Methodist Church with Blake Terrell and Gene McPeak officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.
Sylvia Kay Francis 60, formally of Canadian stepped into her heavenly home Sunday, July 13, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am Saturday, July 19, 2025, in the First Baptist Church of Canadian with Donald Hill and Rev. Rick Timmons, Officiating. Interment will follow at the Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery.
There will be a family visitation Friday, July 18, 2025, from 5:30 pm to 7 pm, at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors, in Canadian.
Jesus Rodriguez, 77, of Canadian, Texas, passed from his earthly home on Sunday, July 13, 2025, in Amarillo.
Rosary service will be 6:30 pm Thursday, July 17, at the Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Chapel. Funeral mass will be 10 am on Friday, July 18, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Marco Gonzalez, Parochial Administrator, officiating. Burial will follow at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.
Dwain Currie of Linden, Texas, passed from this life on Tuesday, July, 1, 2025. He was born on May 4, 1934, at home on a ranch near Happy. He was predeceased by his parents, Joe and Thelma Currie. They were both descendants of pioneer families who settled the Texas Panhandle. Dwain was also predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Almeta; his son, Kip; sister, Norma Jo Price; and his brother Golden Currie.
Tracye Stauff, 54, of Canadian, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025, in Canadian.
A private family service is pending. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.
Walter Wade Adams, 78, died on February 12, 2025, at his home in Nashville, Tennessee, from Parkinson’s Disease. Wade will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia, where his brother, Charles Adams, is also buried.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, May 21, at 1 pm, at the Citadelle Gardens with Rev. Mert Cooper officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.
