Samuel Dee Doty greeted his sunrise on April 25, 1939, born to Elmer Richard Doty and Katy Lowrance Doty, and was lovingly carried into his sunset on November 22, 2025, at age 86.

Sam was preceded in death by his loving parents, Elmer and Katy Doty, by brother Larry Joe Doty, and by grandson Trey Nabb.

Carol Jean Gutiérrez, 75, of Canadian, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 in Canadian.

Rosary will be recited at 9:30 am and a memorial mass will be 10 am, Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Canadian Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Marco Gonzalez, Parochial Administrator, officiating. Robert Stanley “Buck” Dollar, 74, of Wheeler, Texas, passed away Friday, January 2, 2026, in Wheeler, Texas.

Deborah Jean Cannon “Debi” Starr 72, of Canadian passed away December 31, 2025, in Canadian.

Tara Starre Folk, 46, of Canadian passed into her heavenly home on Wednesday, December 25, 2025, in Canadian, Texas, surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral Services will be 2 pm on Monday, December 29, 2025, at the Church of Christ of Canadian with Minister Delbert McLoud, officiating. Interment will follow at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery.
