Body Lillian Marie Ogburn Jackson, devoted wife, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother (Mimi), accomplished musician and faithful friend, passed peacefully from this world to the next on November 22 at her home in Georgetown, Texas. She was 98.

Body Carol Ruth Dickinson Cannady, 76, of Independence, Missouri, passed into her eternal home Saturday, October 28, 2023.  Private family services will be held at a later date in her hometown, Canadian, Texas.

Body Charles William (Bill) Philpott, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and teacher passed away on November 3rd, 2023. After 91 years, Bill simply ran out of time to fully pursue the vast array of interests that continued to relevantly evolve in his brilliant mind.  

Body   Donnie Ray Morrow was born in Levelland on August 8, 1954, and died in Lubbock on November 2, 2023. His birth parents were Garland Morrow and Helen Nickels Morrow. His parents by choice were Larry Sanders and Natalie Hutton Sanders.

Body Jean Arnold Martindale, 87, of Pampa, Texas, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023, peacefully with his family by his side, Memorial services will be 10 am, Tuesday, October 31, at the St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church with Rev. Mark Lang, officiating.

Body Nancy Diana Wilson-Petree was born to Roy Doyle, Sr. and Louise Wilson on June 26, 1948, in Canadian, Texas.

Body Melvin Lee Walser, 87, of Canadian passed into his heavenly home September 20, 2023, in Canadian. A public viewing will be held from 1-8 pm on Saturday, September 23, and from 1-8 pm on Sunday, September 24, at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Home’s Canadian location.

Body Jack Lloyd Gill was born December 6, 1931, in Lipscomb County Texas to Leland Henry Gill and Clara Cocanowen McAllister. Jack passed from this life on September 13, 2023, at the age of 91. Jack began his adult life serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Body Services for Donald Eugene Williams are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Criswell Chapel in Ada, OK.  Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Monday, from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
