I WAS LOOKING AT MY HAIR in the mirror. “I think I might need a touch-up,” I noted to my husband, Peter. “Hmmm,” Peter replied, without looking up. (Which means, “If you think so honey. I honestly believe you might be able to hold off a week!” I can always count on Peter for a thoughtful response.)

CANADIAN RIVER ART ACADEMY

It was another quiet week; the cold weather is keeping our travelers down. The student art exhibit has been judged, and the top prize winners are on special exhibit.

Bobby and Carol Cooper were honored as Outstanding Philanthropists by the Texas Plains Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals at an awards luncheon held on Nov. 14, 2019, to celebrate National Philanthropy Day, or NPD.
