Student Art Show at RVPM

Body Students of CHS/CMS Art Instructor Karol Michelsen will be displaying their work from the 2020-21 school year at Canadian’s River Valley Pioneer Museum this month. The exhibit will open Wednesday, Sept. 8 and will be on display through Friday, Sept. 24.

Body During the summer, we started the marching for this year’s show, “Gargoyles.” Throughout the two-week period, we went over multiple topics of music and marching, ranging from walking in beat with music played over a speaker to playing while marching in step.

CCC welcomes foreign exchange student Cody Johnson

Body The Canadian Community Center was excited to welcome the newest member of the Canadian community this week, Cody Johnson. Cody hails from Livingston, Scotland, and is a foreign exchange student at Canadian High School, being hosted by David and Dusty Witcher.

CHS Willie the Wildcat wins All-American Mascot honor

Body CHS Sophomore Xander Gasparlin has already made a little Wildcat history this year by being the first Willie the Wildcat to be named All-American Mascot at the National Cheerleaders Association cheer camp in Abilene’s Hardin Simmons University this summer.
