As has become our annual holiday tradition, we could not resist once again asking CHS/CMS Wildcat Art students to share their beautiful—and sometimes humorous—images of Christmas. And once again, these young artists have inspired us with their Christmas magic. CANYON, Texas — More than 40 graduates from West Texas A&M University’s nursing program were honored at a pre-commencement observance. 

The WT Department of Nursing’s annual pinning ceremony—held at 11 a.m. Dec. 8 in Legacy Hall inside the Jack B. Kelley Student Center on WT’s Canyon campus—recognized 61 students who graduated Dec. 9.

Canadian’s Lady Cats competed in the UIL State Cross-Country Championships Friday morning at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock. It was the third consecutive year the Lady Cats have advanced to state as a team.

WE'VE JUST BEEN SAVORING the latest edition of Canadian High School’s student newspaper, The Cat's Tale, which features an informative front-page report on the repair work that is underway at Canadian High School's auxiliary gymnasium.

Other news includes a report, "Working Wildcats," on CHS students who are engaged in work practicums and after-school jobs, and a story about Friday the 13th, in which students and staff reveal their own superstitions or the lack thereof.
