Carolyn Lee (Bundy) Bibler Lauer, 85, formerly of Fort Wayne, Indiana, went to her heavenly home on January 10, 2024, in Canadian, Texas. Carolyn was born November 3, 1938, at the family farm in Sabula, Pennsylvania to Hiram and Dora (Shoemaker) Bundy, Sr. Carolyn worked in the medical field.

Irvin Wayne Roach, known affectionately as Wayne to his friends and family, was a beacon of resilience and hope to all who knew him. Born on December 17, 1976, in the small town of Canadian, Texas, Wayne's journey through life was a testament to the human spirit's ability to overcome adversity.

Carolyn Joyce Cockrell, 88, of Canadian, formally of Amarillo, was enveloped in God’s peace and love on January 9, 2024, in Canadian. Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at the Gage Memorial Cemetery in Gage, Oklahoma, with Terry Tyson officiating.

Lynda “JoAnn” Brewster, 80, of Canadian, passed away on January 9, 2024, in Canadian.  Memorial services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at First Christian Church of Canadian, with Rev. Matt Cook, pastor, and Scott King officiating.

Reneatha DeEtte (Little) Golmon, 93, of Waco, Texas and formerly of Beeville, Texas walked into the arms of Jesus Saturday, January 6, 2024.

Wyman Glen Prater, 78, of Canadian stepped into his heavenly home on January 4, 2024, in Canadian. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 10 am, at the First Baptist Church of Canadian with Rev. Matt Phenix officiating. Burial will follow at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery.

Barbara Ann (Pigg) Bentley, 84, of Canadian stepped into her heavenly home Thursday, December 21, 2023, in Canadian.  Graveside services will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday, December 27, at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery, with Charlie Rankin, son-in-law, officiating.

John Wheeler, 81, of Canadian, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023, in Canadian. Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, December 22, at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery, with Ben Mathers and Donald Hill officiating.

Barbara Ann Sides, 80, of Amarillo, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023 in Amarillo. Memorial graveside services will be 2 pm Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery with Alan Hale officiating.

Joyce Julaine Newton was born September 8, 1971, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She lost her two-month battle with ovarian cancer on December 12, 2023. She was surrounded at home by loved ones. A celebration of life was held December 15 at the First Presbyterian Chapel in Wichita Falls, Texas.
