Comancheria Chapter NSDAR members Katie Hill (at left with the DAR State Regent), and Pam Hill and Jeri Pundt (at right), attended the 121st annual Texas State Society Daughters of the American Revolution Conference in Dallas, March 11-13. Katie Hill was chosen to be a personal page for the state regent, Mrs. Susan Green Tillman. For more than 100 years, the Daughters of the American Revolution have carried the torch of patriotism. Love of country was the purpose; ancestors who fought for freedom was the bond that connected women from North and South to reunite the country following the Civil War. Today, the DAR continues the tradition of promoting patriotism, education, and historic preservation. From small towns to metropolitan areas, DAR members make a difference in their communities.
