Body Canadian is still seeking its first District 1-3A win of the season after falling on the road to Dalhart 14-4, last Thursday. The Lady Cats drop to 3-16 overall and are currently 0-4 through district.

Body Canadian’s Ben Bryant and Briley Merket have advanced as individuals to play in the upcoming Region I-3A Golf Tournament.

Body Canadian’s boys and girls track teams competed at the Bobcat Relays at Fair Park Stadium in Childress last Thursday evening. The Canadian boys team dominated the meet, totaling 234 points, which was 91 points ahead of second-place Childress (143).

Body The Canadian softball team suffered a couple of tough losses in District 1-3A play this past week. The Lady Cats fell to River Road 20-5, at home Tuesday, and were beaten by powerhouse Bushland 27-0, last Friday.

Body The Canadian softball team showed improvement over the past week, earning an 11-3 non-district home win against Sunray, followed by a gutsy performance in a District 1-3A home opener against Dalhart, though, the Lady Cats fell short of a 27-23 final.

Body Canadian’s boys and girls track teams competed over spring break at the Perryton Triangular track-and-field meet last Friday at Rangers Stadium in Perryton. The meet saw athletes from host school Perryton, Canadian, and Bushland race at the event.

Body Canadian Middle School athletes followed up on last week’s across-the-board sweep of the Wildcat Relays by repeating the perfomance at Childress. The Cats and Lady Cats finished the meet with all four team first places. Here are their results:
