Body Wildcat Athletic Banquet to be held at CES May 16 The annual Canadian Wildcat Athletic Banquet will be held at Canadian Elementary School on Monday, May 16, at 6:30 pm. All high school athletes will eat free.

Body In the last two weeks of track-and-field reports, we failed to note that Arionna Black qualified in three regional track meet events—not two, as reported. Black competed last weekend in the 3200-meter run, 800-meter run, and mile-relay.

Body A total of 115 players suited up for opening night of the Canadian Community Center’s summer 2022 baseball season Monday, and—following their introduction to the crowd in the stands—stood lining the field for a tribute to the late Larry Dunnam, for whom the field was named.

Body The Canadian track-and-field teams saw a successful afternoon last Thursday during a very competitive District 1-3A/2-3A area track meet in Tulia. The Lady Cats finished third overall, totaling 90 points, and advancing 10 athletes to the Region 1-3A track-and-field meet.
