Body God welcomed another angel into heaven with the passing of Christine Schaef Sleeper on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020, in her home, surrounded by her family. Graveside services were held on Saturday, Dec. 19, at the Elkhart Cemetery with Pastor Wescoatt officiating.

Body Jody Wayne Powledge, 46, of Allison, died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, in Kansas City, Kansas. Graveside services will be at 11 am on Saturday, Dec. 26 in Zybach Cemetery in Briscoe with Rev. Matt Gary and Bret Begert officiating. Viewing will be from 1-6 pm on Wednesday, Dec.

Body William Marvin Kells, 77, of Lipscomb, died Dec. 14, 2020, in Dodge City, Kansas. No services are set at this time. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

Body Shirley Ann Pickard Wheeler, 79, of Amarillo, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020, in Amarillo. A graveside inurnment service will be at 2 pm, Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, at the Roberts County Cemetery in Miami, with Donald Hill officiating.

Body Calvin Edcile Hickey, 92, of Dumas, completed his journey home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020. Services were held at 10 am on Tuesday, Dec. 15 at Sunray Baptist Church in Sunray. Burial will be at Lane Memorial Cemetery in Sunray.

Body Bobby G. Wilburn, 78, of Abilene, passed peacefully from this earth on Dec. 10, 2020, after courageously battling COVID-19 for several weeks. In light of the risks of COVID-19, a small private family graveside service will take place in Canadian at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery.

Body Bettie Karen Curnutt Eggleston passed from this life on Dec. 6, 2020.

Body Roscoe Henry “R.H.” Dyson, 93, of Pampa, passed away Friday, Dec. 4, 2020, in Houston.

Body Kay Lynn Bowers entered eternity on Thursday morning, Nov. 26, 2020, to rejoice in heaven with the Blessed Redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ. A memorial service is planned on Dec. 5, at 1 pm at Freeway Bible Chapel in Lubbock, with Dr. Daniel Passini speaking.
