Famous rodeo professionals Brandon Dunn and Ken Stonecipher are making their way to Canadian for the 4th of July Rodeo. Dunn is an experienced entertainer and barrelman, whereas Stonecipher is a multifaceted, talented announcer. Both are respected in their fields and greatly loved by audiences.

Canadian barrel racer Tamara Reinhardt won double honors in Oklahoma’s National Barrel Horse Association state finals held last weekend. Reinhardt and Imareddie Ta Fly placed second in Sunday’s Open with a time of 16.350, right behind Amanda Clark and Dancin For Fame with their 16.311 run.

Canadian Middle School eighth-graders Flint Hill and Chaynee Slavin each qualified for the Junior High National Finals Rodeo, which will be held June 20-26, in Des Moines, Iowa. Hill rides for Team Texas.
Wildcat football is excited to be offering a football camp for grades 3-8 on Monday and Tuesday, July 26 and 27, at Wildcat Stadium. Camp will run from 9 am to 12 noon. Cost for the registration is $25 and includes a camp t-shirt.
