Whatta Watermelon!
Five-year-old Paislee Harrison couldn’t have been more pleased than she was when she finally harvested this beautiful watermelon, recently. It wasn’t so much the size of the melon—which was impressive—as it was the fact that she had grown it herself, from some seeds her Great Papa had given her.
'Reel' Good Time
Abraham Nursing Home residents enjoyed a ‘reel’ good time this week. A stock tank filled with live fish was set up in the back of the home this week so residents could try their hand at bringing in the catch of the day.
Celebrating 100 years of life
On Wednesday, July 22, Abraham Nursing Home resident Palma Koschke celebrated a momentous milestone—her 100th birthday. In celebration of Palma’s life, a crowd of about 20 attended a birthday party at the Abraham Nursing Home, hosted by Kellie Reeves, the home’s activities director.
