Body CANADIAN—Xcel Energy plans to trim trees near power lines serving customers in Canadian to prevent tree-related power outages and to lessen the chance of wildfire fueled by overgrown vegetation. The work will be carried out by Asplundh between April and June.

Texas Panhandle’s snow drought ends

Body A heavy, wet snow carpeted most of the Texas Panhandle early Tuesday morning and continued to fall throughout the day, measuring anywhere from 1-2 inches in the northernmost areas, to 5-7 inches from Pampa to Wellington, and a whopping 11 inches in Plainview.
