Body The Canadian Lions Club held its weekly noon meeting on Friday, Nov. 4, at the Fire Hall. Boss Lion Bobby Gregg presided over the meeting. Joe Dial led the Pledge of Allegiance, and Joe Wagoner gave the invocation.

Body Members of Canadian’s Rotary Club visited third-grade classes at Baker Elementary School on Tuesday, talking to the students about the Rotary and community service, and about the importance of literacy.

Body Sherye Talley, music program director for Canadian’s own Christian radio station, spoke passionately about this somewhat unknown local gem. This dream first began in August 2016 when a contract was signed to license station KHHC, called The Heart of Hemphill County, found at 91.
