Fall Foliage 2022 was a huge success in Canadian this past weekend. We had a great time visiting with the 350-plus people that came through the museum on Saturday and Sunday. Many of our visitors were here not only to tour the museum but to see our annual quilt show, which was on display in our Gallery Room.

The Canadian High School art class received a special guest, George Mendoza, on Thursday, Sept. 29, whose exhibit, Colors of the Wind, is currently on display at the Citadelle Museum until November. After a tour of his exhibit, Mendoza spent time speaking with art students in Karol Ann Michelson’s advanced art class about his disability, his art, and how he used obstacles in his life as motivation.
