Andy Holloway and Cody King spoke about the impact of the Texas A&M AgriLife Beef Conference. Holloway commended this Rotary Club for being a sounding board for him and for its support of the conference. He learned early in his career that to be successful, he needed to influence the influencers of the community. He feels this club and other organizations like it are influencers in this community and beyond.

The Canadian Wildcat basketball team closed out a short non-district schedule, falling to the Gruver Greyhounds 51-41 last Friday night. After a strong first quarter, down just 9-8, the Greyhounds gave themselves some breathing room, building a 28-21 lead by halftime.

Cinthia Morales, of Canadian, and Cobee Harrison, of Stinnett, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage. The bride-elect is the daughter of David and Isabel Morales of Canadian. The groom-elect is the son of Chris and Colynn Harrison of Stinnett.
