People say you don't know what you've got until it's gone ...

Friday, May 22, was supposed to be my last day of high school, but, unfortunately, Friday, March 13, was the last time I would walk the halls as a Canadian High School student.

One of the things you realize near the end of your senior year is how life will never be exactly the same as it is now. You won’t see the same people every day, or go through the same motions that you have for the past 13 years.

BES students raise over $1,000 running

Body
The Baker Elementary School’s running club is called Miles with Meaning. The club chooses a different charity each month, and runs in their honor. The students set personal goals, and when over half the students have reached those goals, cash is added to a fund. Krista Daniel, Principal of Baker Elementary, said the club raised about $1,000.00 this year. From 2019-2020, Miles with Meaning has contributed funds to the Shrader family after their fire, Lawana Pulliam and Kelsey Bryan as they battled with cancer, Theresa Matthews at Canadian Elementary School, and local first responders.
