Joel D. ‘Jody’ Richardson, 74, of Canyon, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021. Services will be at 10 am on Friday, June 25, at the First Baptist Church in Canyon, with Dr. David Lowrie, pastor of First Baptist Church of Decatur, and Rev. Gene Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Dreamland Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors of Canyon.

Hoyt Lovelace, 82, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas. Services will be held at Brooks Funeral Home in Canyon, on July 17 at 2 pm. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Stephen was a good husband, father, and friend, who had a great love for the Lord. On May 27, 2021, the Lord called Stephen home. Graveside inurnment memorial services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, June 17, at the Higgins Cemetery. Arrangements are by Mason Funeral Home.

Memorial mass will be held at the Holy Name Catholic Church, in Shattuck, Oklahoma, at 2 pm on Friday, June 18. Inurnment will follow at the Higgins Cemetery.

Margaret Joy Roberts, 90, formerly of Booker passed away on May 31, 2021, in Odessa. Graveside services were held on Saturday, June 5 at Heart Cemetery in Booker with Rev. Scott Richards, pastor of Booker United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

Faye Rutledge, 86, of Altus, Oklahoma, formerly of Canadian, died Saturday, May 29, 2021. Memorial graveside services will be Saturday, June 12, in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery, with Charley Marsh officiating.

Arden Bruce Ranson, 88, of Canadian, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021. Memorial services will be at 1 pm on Thursday, June 3, at the First United Methodist Church of Canadian with Pastor Tom Moore officiating. Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors of Canyon.

Kyle Wayne Prater, 53, of Canadian, died May 26, 2021, in Amarillo. Memorial graveside services were held on Tuesday, June 1 at the Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery, with Pastor Donald Hill officiating. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

James Miner Horton, age 88, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021, in San Antonio. He was born on Nov.

Ruth B. Shannon was born in Maysville, Kentucky on Oct. 22, 1923, and passed away on May 25, 2021, in her sleep in her bed in her home, surrounded by loved ones. There will be a private graveside service for the family at Rose Hills Cemetery in Whittier, California, and a Celebration of Life, which will be scheduled later.
