Charles Gilbert “Gib” Dickens passed away peacefully at his home in Edmond, Oklahoma, on Aug. 11, 2021, surrounded by family. A Celebration of Life is pending. At Gib’s side was his wife and high-school sweetheart, Maryann, whom he had wed exactly 71 years prior, to the day.

Ethel Elizabeth Renner Grimes stepped into the arms of Jesus on Aug. 12, 2021, at 103 years, five months, and 30 days. Services were held on Tuesday, Aug. 17, at the First Baptist Church in Mobeetie with Rev. Travis Leamon officiating. Burial followed in Wheeler Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.

Robert Frank Goodwin, 71, of Canadian, died Monday, Aug. 9, 2021, in Canadian.

Onnie Marie Kirkman, 92, of Quinlan, passed on July 31, 2021, at Tender Care Colonial Lodge. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, Aug.

Bonnie Abraham, 97, of Amarillo, passed away on July 29, 2021. A memorial service was held at 2 pm on Tuesday, Aug. 3, at the First Presbyterian Church, 1100 S. Harrison, in Amarillo. Interment was private in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements were by Schooler Funeral Home.

Wanda Jo Rankin, 83, of Canadian, went to be with Jesus on Friday, July 30, 2021, in Canadian. Graveside services were held on Monday, Aug. 2, at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery, with Bo Rankin and Charlie Rankin officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

Milton Matthew Mann, 80, of Clarendon, died Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at his home in Clarendon. Graveside services were held Saturday, July 24, in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon.

Jose Hugo Rosales Herrera, 38, of Booker, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021, in Lubbock. A funeral mass took place on Thursday, July 1, at the St Peter’s Catholic Church in Booker, with Father Cesar Gomez officiating. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.

Keith Patterson, 87, of Pampa, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, in Pampa. Memorial services will be at 10 am on Friday, July 9, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Pastor Donald Hill officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Wilma Laubhan, 87, of Amarillo and formerly of Lipscomb, passed away on June 30, 2021, in Amarillo. Services will be at 1 pm on Friday, July 9, at Carmichael-Whatley Canadian Chapel with Rev.
