Helen Pesch passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022, in Borger. She was born on Feb.

George Guinn Wilson, 78, of Archer City, formerly of Canadian, went to his heavenly home on April 16, 2022, in Archer City. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 20, at Carmichael-Whatley Canadian Chapel, with Ed Hedgecoke and Pastor Barry Hosford officiating. Burial followed at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

Mark Steve Meek, 70, of Briscoe, passed away on April 17, 2022, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 23, from 5 pm-6:30 pm. Services will be held at 2:30 pm on Sunday, April 24, at Fort Elliott High School Auditorium with Erron Mercer, Bruce Johnson, and Ricky Pfeil officiating. Burial will follow in Gageby Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

Kenneth “Wayne” Paul, 82, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022. Wayne requested that no services be held. There will be a family memorial for him when his ashes are returned to the ranch. Arrangements were under the direction of Scotty Schilling, funeral director, 102 S. Miller, in Follett.

William Edward “Eddie” George, 93, of Briscoe, passed away on April 3, 2022, in Canadian. Services were held at 2 pm on Wednesday, April 6, at The River Ministries in Canadian with Dale Meadows officiating.

Wilma Nona Eubank stepped into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at her home in Amarillo. Funeral services will be held at 10 am, on Saturday, April 9, at the Southwest Church of Christ in Amarillo, with Brent Adams and Ryan Porshe officiating.

Johanna Rae (McIntosh) “Jo” Manning was a loving wife, mom, MorMor (grandmother), daughter, sister, and friend. She left this world, following a brief illness, on Sunday, March 27, 2022, in Amarillo. At the age of 64, she found herself in the arms of Jesus. What a glorious day and eternity for her!

Phyllis Anne Blanscet Amerson, 83, died peacefully on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 in Baird. Services were held on Saturday, April 2, at the Carmichael-Whatley Canadian Chapel with Rev.

Palma Koschke, 101, former resident of Darrouzett, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2022, at Mesa View Senior Living in Canadian. Graveside services will be at 11 am on Saturday, April 2, at the Darrouzett Cemetery with Dick Babitzke, a family friend, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of CarmichaelWhatley Funeral Directors of Canadian. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, April 1, from 6-7:30 pm.

Dollie Merceed (Hall) Mitchell, 95, of Canadian, stepped into the arms of Jesus, Friday, March 25, 2022, in Canadian. Services were held on Monday, March 28, at the Canadian Church of Christ with Jake Perkins, preaching minister, and Barry Hobson, youth minister, officiating.
