Body BNSF Railway Company is proposing to construct a 40 meter tall Monopole Tower, in Higgins, TX at 36° 07' 19.1'' N, 100° 01" 1.6" W. The structure will be equipped with steady red lights, or alternate lighting as determined by the FAA.

Body Polly Horton, 92, of Canadian, formerly of Higgins, stepped into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, September 22, 2024, in Amarillo.Public viewing will be from 9 am-8 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 24-25.

Body Jack Lloyd Gill was born December 6, 1931, in Lipscomb County Texas to Leland Henry Gill and Clara Cocanowen McAllister. Jack passed from this life on September 13, 2023, at the age of 91. Jack began his adult life serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
