Eight athletes will represent Canadian High School in the 2024 UIL Cross Country State Meet, which will be held Friday and Saturday, November 1-2, at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock.

Canadian High School won the 3A District 1 UIL Academic Meet April 2 with a staggering 688 points, beating Bushland’s second place score of only 281 points. The top three individuals in each event and first place teams will advance to the Region 1 UIL Academic Meet April 26-27 in Abilene.

AUSTIN— The biennial University Interscholastic League reclassification and realignment for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years was released this morning, Thursday, Feb. 1, at 9 am.

Last week, Canadian High School competed in the 3A District meet for Academic and Speech UIL, dominating the competition with 802 points and earning the championship trophy. Competitors included Bushland, Spearman, River Road, Dalhart, and Tulia.
