Canadian’s Spirit Club, FCA, and Booster Club worked to raise funds for Friona’s Andrew Rivera. Rivera was in a car wreck on Oct. 13. A “Pass the Bucket” was conducted at Fields of Faith, and a bake sale was held over two days at the school. Spirit Club members sold programs at the gate during Friday night’s game and took donations during the first half.

Abby Isom, who suggested the fundraiser, said, “I think this was the right thing to do and knew the Canadian community would help.” Overall, $781.55 was raised. Isom, along with McKenna Cavalier, gave the funds to students during halftime.
