The Canadian Wildcats’ season ended last week with a 17-24 loss to the Idalou Wildcats (10-3), who will advance to the 2025 UIL Texas State Football Championship Quarterfinal round, where they will meet the as-yet undefeated Wall Hawks (13-0).

Our congratulations to those fighting Wildcats for an exciting 2025 football season. We are already looking forward to the next one.

Our thanks goes to the four Canadian businesses that sponsored the Wildcat Football Pick ‘Em, and to the four brave Wildcat backers—Blake Beedy, Charlie Mann, Shane Sawyer and Tommy Wyatt—who put their final game score predictions on the line each week to claim Wildcat Pick ‘Em fame. 

Blake collected his fifth and final gold star with a 28-21 Pick ‘Em, closing the season in a three-way tie, shared by Blake, Charlie and Tommy. While all of our Pick ‘Em participants wish the final score had been reversed, congrats to all for making it an even more interesting Wildcat football season!
