Travis Renfro graduated Tuesday morning, Nov. 26, as a Basic Peace Officer from East Texas Police Academy in Kilgore, Texas. Travis started working for the Hemphill County Sheriff’s Office as a dispatcher/ corrections officer on March 30, 2018, and decided to further his career by becoming a deputy. He will return to Canadian to do his field training here as a HCSO deputy.
