Zybach-Owens Post 56 conducted the Memorial Day Ceremony at the Edith Ford Cemeteries on Monday, May 27. Post Commander John McGarr and Adjutant Wendy Wright led the ceremony. The color guard was made up of members Malouf Abraham, Jason Bradford, Warren Rivers, David Parnell, and John Rivers, and volunteer Albert Godino. Several volunteers helped place and remove flags on the graves of veterans buried at Edith Ford, Catalina, Gageby, Glazier and Washita cemeteries, including Michael Butler, Dana Byrum, Ashton Cates, Dayla Cates, Lance Cates, Caden Cooke, Cody Cooke, Marie Maupin, Gladene Swires, Jaelynn Swires, Marilee Wright; and Cub Scout Pack 271, to include Packmaster Max Monty, Den Leader Justin Dial, Assistant Den Leader Johnnye Page, Secretary Amy Dial, adult Leader Brandon Page, and Scouts Eli Dial, Aaron Henderson, Micah Monty, Trenton Oatman, Nathanael Page, and Kyle Wright; as well as Kyra Page and Xoe Page. Abi Black concluded the ceremony with a somber performance of “Taps.”
