The Canadian Wildcat Booster Club and CHS Spirit Club are sponsoring a Spirit Parade for Homecoming on Wednesday, September 6, at 6:30 pm. The route will begin at the Hemphill County Courthouse, continue up 6th Street, and end at the newly christened Chris Koetting Field.

All Canadian ISD clubs, groups, classes, and teams have been invited to participate. Businesses, youth groups, as well as all Wildcat fans, are encouraged to join as well. The Wildcat Booster Club has donated a prize for the best-decorated entry. There will be no pre-registration required. Just show up at the Courthouse parking lot.

After the parade, hungry fans can tank up at food trucks set up at the field. The evening will culminate with the “Lighting of the C.”

Homecoming will take place on Friday, September 8, at Chris Koetting Field, where the Canadian Wildcats will meet the Elk City, Oklahoma, Big Elks at 7 pm. On Thursday, September 7, the Middle School football team will play Perryton at 5 pm in Canadian.
