Herminia Medina, cherished wife, mother, Mimi, sister, and friend, passed away on August 5, 2024, at the age of 56.

Marqueta Dianne Cockrell Zenor, 71 stepped into the arms of Jesus Friday, August 2, 2024, in Canadian.Memorial Services will be 2 pm Wednesday, August 7, at the River Ministries Church with Pastor Donald Hill officiating. A private burial will be held in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery.

Karen Rollins (born Karen Arlene Hall), 83, passed away in her sleep on Tuesday, 30 July, 2024. She was born Karen Arlene Hall on 4 October, 1940 in El Paso Texas to Charles Raymond Hall and Ruby Earlene (Dakan) Hall. 

Eva Timmons, 89, of Canadian, formerly of Lefors, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 in Canadian.Services will be at 10 am on Saturday, August 3, at the First Baptist Church in Lefors with Rev. Rick Timmons, pastor at Central Baptist Church in Canadian, officiating.

Joe "Gary" Story, 75, of Wilmore, Kentucky passed away Sunday, July 28, 2024. Gary was known for his engaging personality, caring demeanor, and wonderful sense of humor. He loved to strike up conversations with friends and strangers alike. His interest in the lives of others drew people to him.

Barbara Nell Morgan was born on December 28, 1941, in Plainview, Texas, to Tonie and Ione Evelyn Mills. She moved to Guymon, Oklahoma, where she graduated from Guymon High School in the class of 1959. Barbara met the love of her life, Max, in 1961 in Canadian, Texas.

Pauline “Polly” Norene Shepherd Tubb was born April 20, 1928 and passed away July 21, 2024. Polly was born north of Seiling, Oklahoma to Enid and Laura Barnes Shepherd who moved to Canadian when Polly was a young child. She met and married George Earl Tubb in 1951 at Pampa.

Farrell “Joe” Wallace was born in Canadian, Texas, on January 30, 1943, to his parents, Russell Wallace and Beadie Pearl (Hand) Wallace.

UPDATE: A memorial service will be held in Canadian for Lt. Col. Charles Logan Kessie, Ret., on Friday, August 9, 10:30 am at the First Methodist Church. with Fr. Mark Lang officiating and John P. McGarr serving as lector. A Military and Masonic burial will follow at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery.

Donald Lewis Stuckey was born in Shattuck, Oklahoma, on January 30, 1945, and passed to be with his Lord on July 9, 2024, at the age of 79 years.
