Nanie Carver, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2022, at her home in Canadian. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm on Friday, July 29, at the First Christian Church in Canadian with Matt Dillon and Garrison Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

LISA LITCHFIELD

After a battle with cancer, Lisa Lee Litchfield, of St. Paul, Minnesota, passed away on July 1, 2022, in St. Paul. Lisa requested cremation and her ashes will be spread amongst the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. A commemorative headstone will be placed at the family plot in Higgins, and a private family service held later.

BRENTLEY EDWARD SHIELDS

Body
Brentley (Brent) Shields of Amarillo passed away in his home. Brent fought a long, hard battle with mental illness, which ended peacefully on June 19, 2022. A private graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, July 16, in Seminole, at Gaines County South Cemetery with Pastor Jared Baker, of Glad Tidings Church, officiating.

Janice Moore, 64, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones on June 27, 2022, at her home in Canadian. Memorial services were held on Wednesday, June 29, at the First United Methodist Church in Canadian with Rev. Morgan Johnson officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Carmichael- Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

Frank Carl Muir, 79, of Panhandle, passed on June 27, 2022, surrounded by his children and holding the hand of his bride of 57 years. Funeral services will be at 2 pm today [Thursday, June 30], at The River in Panhandle. Graveside services will follow in Panhandle Cemetery. A gathering will be afterward in the Fellowship Hall at the River.

Jerry Donald “Big Dad” Collier, 82, went home to his Lord and Savior on Friday, June 17, 2022, in Canadian. Memorial services were held on Monday, June 20, at the First Christian Church of Canadian with Matt Cook officiating. A private family burial will be scheduled later. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

Mickey Dean Karr, 76, of Pampa, went home to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ on June 8, 2022. The family is planning a Celebration of Life memorial service to be held at a later date. Cremation care has been entrusted to Winegeart Funeral Home.
