The Canadian Arts Alliance is inviting theatre lovers to join them for dinner, drinks, and death-in-the-dark on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 12-13. Local community theatre players will present Whodunit?—a melodrama murder mystery by Anne Coulter Martens, and directed by local thespian, Ike Julian.

The production involves big laughs, audience participation (as they serve as the detectives), and a huge surprise at the conclusion. Actors and the characters they play are: Angie Hawkins, Alice; Blake Beedy, Malcolm Proudpuss; Wendy Wright, Annie Ouncer; Brooke McQuiddy, Harriett and Natasha; Jocelyn Meek, Featherstone the butler; Taylor Schaeffer, Jake; Blake Durham, Grandma; and a special appearance by Mike McKinney as Uncle Eeben. Dawn Webb and Xander Gasparlin are the behind-the-scenes, make-it-all-happen crew members.

Three performances of Whodunit? are scheduled at the River Valley Pioneer Museum: two dinner shows on Saturday, Oct. 12, at 6 pm and 8 pm, tickets $40; on Sunday, Oct. 13, at 2 pm, one dessert-and-drinks only show, tickets $25. Tickets can be purchased by calling the museum at 323.6548; or Kim McKinney at 806.282.8681.
