The Canadian Arts Alliance is inviting theatre lovers to join them for dinner, drinks, and death-in-the-dark on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 12-13. A cast of thousands from the Community Theatre players will present Whodunit?— a melodrama murder mystery by Anne Coulter Martens, and directed by local thespian Ike Julian.

The detectives may not know who the killer is, but the people out there in the audience do. Two of the characters in the production are Malcolm Proudpuss, played by Blake Beedy, and “Sweet” Alice, aka Angie Hawkins. They are introduced in the above photo.

Three performances of Whodunit? are scheduled at the River Valley Pioneer Museum: two dinner shows on Saturday, Oct. 12, at 6 pm and 8 pm, tickets–$40; on Sunday, Oct. 13, at 2 pm, one dessert-and-drinks-only show, tickets $25. Tickets can be purchased by calling the museum at 323.6548; or Kim McKinney at 282.8681.
