Mark and Jo Beth Lingo of College Station announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Katie Jo Lingo, to Payton Collier, son of Kirk and Michelle Collier of Hooker, Oklahoma, formerly of Canadian.

The bride-elect graduated from A&M Consolidated High School in College Station in 2020, and will graduate this August from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations.

The groom-elect graduated from Canadian High School in 2019 and graduated from Texas Tech University in May of 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He will begin work on his Master’s degree in fall 2023.

Katie Jo and Payton currently reside in Lubbock. Their wedding is scheduled for May 19, 2023, at Cathedral Oaks in Belton, Texas.
