The Hemphill County Library will host an adult craft class---String Art---this Thursday, September 21, at 2 pm. Call the library at 323-5282 to reserve a spot. Have in mind what design you’d like to do. The foam boards are 8”x10”, and the wood circles are about 7” in diameter.

The library is inviting kiddos for its new after-school program for 3rd-5th graders called Creation Station Maker’s Club. This group will meet on Tuesdays, from 4-5 pm, and the kids will be able to explore a variety of STEAM activities and hands-on experiences. They also will perform science experiments, build things, and create crafts from different materials. To sign up, visit the library or call 806-323-5282.

Also on tap is a Bookworms After-School Program for Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd-graders. The program will begin Monday, September 25, and continue every Monday from 3:45 to 4:45. Fun activities, crafts, and snacks will be on the schedule. To register, come by the library at 500 Main Street or call 806-323-5282.
