Leadership Canadian class members recently toured 100th Meridian Ranch, owned by Justin and Bryn Rader, for an inside look at one of the area’s innovative agricultural businesses. Participants met with the ranch team, including Justin Rader, Dusty Billings, Lane Hale, and Kortni Hale, who each shared their roles in the operation.

Justin discussed the history of the ranch and its growth from a traditional cattle operation into a diversified business that now includes a successful bull leasing program.

Dusty spoke about managing the cow/calf and stocker side of the business, while Lane explained how the bull leasing program provides producers with quality bulls for the breeding season without the year-round costs and risks of ownership. Kortni shared the ranch’s marketing efforts and introduced an app she is developing to help manage the many moving parts of the growing operation.

The group also observed veterinarian Doug Crouch, of Canadian Veterinary Clinic, perform breeding soundness examinations and trichomonosis testing on bulls, emphasizing the importance of herd health and reproductive management.

The visit served as another example of how local small businesses create opportunities, support families, and strengthen the entire community through their connections and economic impact.

Members in attendance included Tanya Holloway, Lisa Johnson, Cassi Warren, Caroline Crouch, John Mcyntire, Carlos Lopez, Courtney Rodriguez, and Seciah Quesada, and guest Mason Carter.
