Obituary

Farrell “Joe” Wallace was born in Canadian, Texas, on January 30, 1943, to his parents, Russell Wallace and Beadie Pearl (Hand) Wallace. He married Treva Ann Weidner on October 20, 1962, in Stephenville, Texas.

Joe was a proud 1965 graduate of Texas A&M. He worked for many years as an electrical engineer. His true passion was working and spending time on the ranch. Joe was a member of the Mambrino Baptist Church in Granbury, Texas.

Joe passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024, in Bluff Dale, Texas. He was 81 years old.

Donald Lewis Stuckey was born in Shattuck, Oklahoma, on January 30, 1945, and passed to be with his Lord on July 9, 2024, at the age of 79 years. 

James Melvin “Jim” Hash was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on April 8, 1936, to Melvin “Slim” and Anna Mae (Long) Hash. Jim passed from this life on June 26, 2024, at the age of 88.

Memorial services will be held at 2:01 pm, Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at the Canadian Methodist Church with Justin Colman officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

Mike Dake, 62, of Glazier and the IV Ranch, stepped into his heavenly home on July 5, 2023.

A memorial service to celebrate Mike’s life will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, July 12, at the River Ministries Church with Donald Hill, Pastor, officiating. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

Lizabeth Ann Fuson Valentine, 56, of Canadian passed from this life on May 28, 2024, in Canadian.

Richard Joseph “RJ” Murray, 95, of Canadian, formally of Hart stepped into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, May 11, 2024, in Canadian.

Private family services will be held at a future date. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

Daisy "Dee" Ann Bank, 88, of Salina, Kansas, stepped into her heavenly home Friday, May 10th, 2024.

Visitation will be from 1-8 pm, on Thursday, May 16, at Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian, 203 S 3rd St, Canadian.

Raymond H. McDonald, 87, of Canadian stepped into the arms of Jesus Sunday, May 5, 2024, in Canadian.

Memorial services will be held at 11 am, Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the Church of Christ in Durham, Oklahoma. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

Glynn Lusk, 83 of Pampa, passed away on May 1, 2024, in Canadian, Texas.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Monday, May 6, 2024, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Byron Williamson, pastor of First Baptist Church in Pampa, officiating. A private family entombment will be held at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

Mr. George Ocasio 74, of Canadian, Texas, passed away on April 23, 2024. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 1-5 pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024 at 10 am at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
