A GUIDE TO THE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS

​Early voting began Monday, October 20 and continues through Friday, October 31 in the November 4 election. Among the decisions voters will tackle are nineteen proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution. 

The League of Women Voters of Texas has published a Guide to Voters which provides the text of each of the proposed 17 Constitutional Amendments, along with a simple explanation of what it means and brief arguments both for and against each proposition.

Life saved in the field as blood supplies dwindle

OCTOBER 8, 2025 — Blood supplies across the region have dropped to roughly one day’s worth on hand, and O-negative, O-positive, and platelet donations are at dangerously low levels. Immediate donor response is needed.
