The Hemphill County Hospital District this week released updated visitation policies for the Canadian Family Physicians Clinic, both Mesa View Assisted Living and Senior Living, and Hemphill County Hospital.

On Tuesday, April 6, Miami ISD Superintendent Donna Hale released a statement in response to inquiries regarding the recent indictments and arrests of three MHS students. The students—Tanner Cummings Miller, Rance Ely Moreno, and Tristen Leo Douglas—face multiple felony charges, ranging from indecency with a child with sexual contact and sexual assault of a child, to sexual assault and aggravated assault causing bodily injury.

Canadian is still seeking its first District 1-3A win of the season after falling on the road to Dalhart 14-4, last Thursday. The Lady Cats drop to 3-16 overall and are currently 0-4 through district.
